Return Policy

BonBini offers returns for most of its products. However, customers should carefully look at each product’s information page to check whether the product is returnable or if it is a non-returnable / final sale product.

When can an exchange be initiated?  

You can exchange an item if you have received a faulty/defective product or a physically damaged item. You can also file for an exchange if the item is different from its description on the website.


  1. Customers seeking to return an item for any reason must notify BonBini within 48 hours of receiving the product.
  2. Items that are eligible for returns must be returned to us within 15 calendar days of the receipt of the item.
  3. Customers must bear the cost of the return shipment. BonBini will not arrange for a return pick-up.
  4. BonBini does not provide refunds for returned orders. However, the Company will provide store credit worth the same amount as the retuned product, if the return product meets the following criteria:
    • All returned products must be shipped back in their original packaging. All material, including plastic wrapping, dust bags, gift boxes, authenticity cards, must be returned along with the product
    • Return items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unsoiled.
    • If the returned items do not meet the Return Criteria, the products will be returned to the customer and the customer will not be entitled to store credit
    • Same policies apply to all items bought via Store Credit
  5. All customized products (which have been made to customer’s size / measurements) are non-returnable. We may offer alterations on custom orders on a case-to-case basis dependent on the vendor’s agreement.
  6. If the product received is faulty or damaged, please inform the Customer Care team, with photographs of the damage or issue. Our team will assess the damage and offer to exchange the product for a new piece or for store credit, once the original product is returned.
    • Please note that products are only considered “faulty” if they have a severe manufacturing defect making it unfit for wear or use. Items that are damaged due to normal wear are not faulty products.
    • A product is not considered damaged if there is a slight color variation between the image on the website and the actual product.
  7. BonBini is not liable for damages to the product after it has been received by the customer. If the product has been damaged in transit (ex. the packaging is clearly damaged), the customer may refuse to accept the product and inform BonBini by emailing

Refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances.

Return Initiation

A 100% refund will be initiated in the event that a defective/damaged piece has been shipped and BonBini is unable to provide a replacement for the same. In such cases, we will refund the entire order value within 7 working days to the aggrieved customer’s bank account.

  1. All return/exchange requests must be communicated within 48 hours of receiving the product.

Email us on  with your Order Number, Registered Email Id/Mobile Number & Product Name.

Your email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the order/package delivered to you.

Once you have received a reply, please re-pack the items to be returned with all original packaging & tags that they were shipped with and send it to the following address:

Reverse pickup

Unfortunately, we do not offer reverse pickup service at the moment. The customer will be required to ship the product back to our mailing address.

Cost for reversal shipment

In case of damaged/defective goods or size mismatch, an amount of Rs. 100 will be reimbursed in your account towards shipping costs in the form of a promo code. This will be done post the quality check.

Some Do’s & Dont’s for reverse shipping the product:

Return/exchange items must be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons; and returned with original packaging and tags in place. Items without tags will not be accepted.

Please make sure that the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self shipped returns, please use a reliable courier service.

Once your return is received by us, a quality check will be performed on the returned items by our quality team. This is subject to your return having met the requirements of being unused and unwashed, returned within 10 days of delivery.

What happens when my return/exchange is accepted?

Once the returned products meet the above return specifications post quality check, we will ship the exchange or process your refund into your bank account.

Any returned item received by us that does not meet the above mentioned conditions, will not be accepted and will be returned back to your return address.

Partial Refunds

In the case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, BonBini is unable to deliver a certain product/s, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product. However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, BonBini shall agree to either provide store credit to be used for future purchases or refund the amount for that particular product. The decision to provide a refund lies at the sole discretion of BonBini.

Credit Issues

The credits against the customer’s credit card account normally take three (3) business days to be processed. After which, the corresponding bank may take up to two (2) business days from the date of processing to show the said credits in the customer’s account.

Product Disclaimer

There might be slight variations in colour & prints as each piece is handcrafted. The details of the products or product specifications (weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) as mentioned on BonBini are only approximate values.

Because products on BonBini are designer made, hand woven and intricately crafted and sourced from various parts of India, there may be variations in color and embellishment of the actual product against that as shown on the website. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography, color settings and capabilities of computer monitors.
